Beauty
Everyone has his or her idea of beauty. Some people like long hair in others. Some like long legs. Some like bold head, some love messy dreadlocks. People find piercing attractive. If you ask ten different people what they find attractive in others you’ll get ten completely different answers.
Some fashions have developed from sacred religious attributes belonging to various cultures. For example the followers of Rasta religion twist roll their hair into thick strands called dreadlocks. Many other people that do not belong to Rasta Religion, neither are black have adopted this hairstyle and since they found it rather attractive and exotic.
The search has been going on for ages, perhaps even thousands of years. Ancient Egyptians stained their palms, nails, soles of their feet with henna. Henna is a red vegetable dye, which not too many people our days would use for natural cosmetics. But in those days it was quite cool. They also painted their veins with blue paint and lightened their skin with ochre. Lining eyes in Egypt with kohl, a black powder, was common for both men and women.
Male Amazonian Indians like their lips, actually their lower lips stretched and a round salver fitted inside. It’s not done in order to achieve comfort of always having your plate with you wherever you go. It is considered to be beautiful.
You may agree or disagree on what many peoples around the world consider beautiful, but the truth is. The more different the world is the more interesting it is to live in it. And the more interesting it is to live in this world the more beauty present in our lives with the coming of knowledge.
